ChaosPro
http://www.chaospro.de/index.html
ChaosPro is a fractal generator using multi windowing and multi threading,
i.e. you can calculate several fractals at the same time in different
windows. It can read most of FractInt's and UltraFractals parameter,
palette and formula files, supporting many of FractInt's fractal types
as well as UltraFractal formulas (transformations, formulas, colorings).
ChaosPro is able to create animations by using keyframes: Almost each
parameter and/or parameter combination can be animated. The program
is able to calculate 3D transformations from 2D fractals. It supports
24 bit and thus is able to calculate true color images, which can
be saved as either PNG or JPG image files. |

Fractal
Explorer
Freeware
Sirotinsky A.A. and Fedorenko O.V.Kiev, Ukraine
http://www.eclectasy.com/Fractal-Explorer/index.html
Fractal Explorer allow you to generate fractal images and animations.
You can build Polynomial (iteration escapes) sets like the Mandelbrot/Julia/Newton,
Fractal Orbits, IFS, Fractal Landscapes and 3D "strange"
attractors |

Fractal
Landscapes
Freeware
Sirotinsky A.A. and Fedorenko O.V.Kiev, Ukraine
http://www.eclectasy.com/Fractal-Explorer/index.html
Fractal Landscapes Library enables you to render the images of landscapes
using OpenGL.
Initial height map can be taken from the fractal images (used as Fractal
Explorer
plug-in) and can be generated automatically (used separately). Smoothing
and bluring
of the initial height map available. Textures can by applayed on the
mesh, water
and sky planes. Up to 5 light sources. Generated images can be saved
into BMP or
JPEG formats. Also, navigation over terrain enabled with keyboard
and/or mouse. |

Kaos
Rhei
Freeware (c) Björn Ischo
http://www.feldfunker.de/software/kr.htm
Kaos Rhei is a program for rendering fractal images which can be used
in as stand-alone images, textures or bump maps for 3D rendering.
It currently supports more than a dozen different fractal types, including
M-Sets, N-Sets and N/M-Sets. A unique formula parser gives you full
control over the coloring of the fractals, either using a preset 256-color
palette, or applying different formulas to RGB or HLS color space.
Image size is only limited by the available memory. Additional features
include integration of plasma clouds, several filters, and various
fractal options such as inverted fractals. |

MZooM
Freeware Windows 95, 98, NT4.0 et 2000
http://z-graphix.ch/
MZooM is a high
precision freeware Mandelbrot, Julia, Newton and other fractal generator.
Fractals as large as 5000x5000 pixels may be generated in a simple
way.
MZooM can generate fractals in 8bits or 24 bit colour deep. They can
be exported to standard file formats such as Gif, Tiff, Bmp or Jpeg.
Zoom can be achieved from any fractal to a whopping scale of 5E12.
Fractals can also be viewed in 3D from any angle. |
